Budget Checking at IM postion level

Hi,

I have a request whereby user have asked to remove budget checking via project and request for it to be done at IM position level @ to move AVAC from project to IM position.

Let say the IM structure is like this:

L1     Company A

L2          Division A

L3               Business Area A

L3               Business Area B

L3               Business Area C

L4                    Project Type A

L4                    Project Type B ($1Million)

L5                         Project Definition TA ($1Million)

L5                         Project Definition TB ($1Million)

Budget from IM Project Type B has been distributed $1 million both for TA and TB and current available budget for IM Project Type B is $1 million.

Current setup is to have AVAC on project level whereby utilization of more than $1 miliion will not be authorized.

User have requested to remove AVAC checking on projects to allow utilization of additional $1 million which is currently available at IM Project Type B.

Once the money at IM Project Type B is depleted, then only TA or TB will encounter error insufficient budgetting.

Basically budget checking @ AVAC is to be done at L3 instead of L5.

Can this be done?
