Closing a internal processing activity

Hi to all,

I am a fairly new user of SAP-PS and I was wondering how to "close" an internal processing activity. A little background. My project is divided in stages and I want to make sure after stage "x" is completed that the codes I provided for labour reporting in that stage gets closed, therefore team members will no longer be able to use the code avoiding incorrect cost assignments.
