I never worked on Project Stock scenarios but aware how the functionality works.
In Plant stock, we don't maintain any special stock segments for projects. We just consume the material that is available for any order.
-For In-house, Project-WBS-NW-ACTIVITY-Material Component-MRP CHECK and Systems creates a Reservation.
For Procurement, (WBS-NWA-PR-PO-MIGO) Material may be procured using the material number or if material isn't available we use description and this type of materials are not placed in the inventory, They rather consumed directly at NWA level when GR is done.
How does PROJECT STOCK is separately maintained as a special stock segment(WBS)? Is there any transaction to maintain as a special stock segment? Is there any movement type to issue goods to WBS in order to maintain a separate stock?
Project Stock Updates Quantity and values (Mat Doc & FI doc) and same happens for Plant stock too when GR is done. What’s special about project stock in this case?
